ABOUT REVELSTOKE RECOVERY TASK FORCE - The purpose of the Recovery Task Force (RTF) is to identify immediate and long-term needs, assess various initiatives, and craft a response to the economic and social disruptions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic that best serve the needs of the local community.

The role of the task force is to be a non-partisan, cross-sectoral ’think tank’ that will receive input from a variety of sectors and will collate that input to suggest strategies and opportunities that we can focus on to mitigate the potential economic impact to businesses from the COVID-19 pandemic.

More information on the RTF: www.revelstoke.ca/RTF

ABOUT THE WELL-BEING SURVEY - From Oct-Dec 2020, the RTF conducted the "Revelstoke and Area Community Well-Being Survey" - from this, the RTF wished to share the data findings and provide resources to address the key needs identified in the survey for the Revelstoke community. In Spring 2021, " I ❤️ REVY." was inspired by key community needs that have evolved from the pandemic. The first initiative of this movement is a four series supplement issue in the Revelstoke Review which will serve as a communication vessel to help provide information, tools, and stories from community members in an effort to build a support system for greater recovery.
