Section 166 of the Community Charter states that “A council must undertake a process of public consultation regarding the proposed financial plan before it is adopted.” Staff produce an annual guide, “Your Guide to Budget 2021”, as the basis for public input/feedback in regards to the City’s draft budget and long-term financial plan.
The public engagement period is from March 24, 2021 through to April 7, 2021 - 4pm.
